The roots of Elektron Group Ltd. can be traced back to Elektron Engineering Partnership founded in 1983, followed in 1986-1990 by Elektron Engineering-Sayit Hidayetoğlu, a privately owned company. Between 1989 and 1998, the Elektron team undertook electrical contracting works as Elektron Engineering Electrical Industry and Trade, Inc.

The current entity, Elektron Group Industrial Systems and Trade Ltd. (Elektron Group Ltd.) itself was established in 1998, to work in the fields of energy supply and transformer substations, electrical-electronic installations of buildings and industrial systems and the design and supply of high technology audio-visual systems.
