The Kuwait Embassy Complex in Ankara consists of a large area with gardens, a swimming pool, pedestrian roads, and more than 7000 m2 building area. The complex has three different buildings, the first one used as the embassy office building, the second as the ambassador's residence, and the third for the staff's lodging. The Kuwait Embassy Complex is one of the most expensive buildings in Turkey by cost per m2 basis.
Elektron's contract was covering design, supply and installation of;
- Electric power supply and 800 kVA transformer substation,
- Installation of 400 kVA emergency diesel generator,
- 48 electrical distribution panels, 8 MCC and HVAC automatic controls,
- Earthing, grounding and lightning protection systems,
- Electrical power distribution and lighting system with 4.600 circuits,
- 2.800 imported (Trilux, Mazda, Staff, Bega, Decolite, Culligan etc.) and local lighting fixtures,
- CCTV system with 3 fixed / 4 PTZ cameras, 2 monitors and custom built central security console,
- Conventional fire alarm system with, mimic diagram, 210 detectors, manual buttons and horns,
- Halon extinguishing system to four mission-critical rooms,
- Card access system for 4 doors and remote controlled gate opening systems to 3 main entrances,
- Intercom system between main entrances and apartment doors.
